Principle of production:
- 3 coats of foam plastic glued with fibres are passed into the machine from for instance 3 rolls or perhaps as sheets. Max. material width 1800 mm
- The 3 coats are cut horizontally in strips of for instance 70 mm width
- The 3 coats are cut across, producing for instance 3 x 25 sponges
- On the belt conveyor from Pos. 3 to 5 the sponges are set on end changing the base from 7 x 9 cm to about 3 x 9 cm
- The packing machine counts up the sponges (for instance 10 pcs.) and wrap the sponges in foil, in the same way as wrapping cigarette packages in foil.
It is possible to put on a self-adhesive label at the same time.
